CURLING in the Adirondacks
The Adirondack’s Tri lakes region has been host to CURLING in multiple forms beginning in 1917. Multiple venues and name transformations--beginning as the Saranac Lake Curling Club, the Pines Curling Club, the Sno Birds Curling Club and finally the Lake Placid Curling Club. This year we celebrate our 35th year as The Lake Placid Curling Club.
The club now curls every Sunday beginning in October through March at the Saranac Lake Civic Center. We are a fun loving group of all ages from teenage to seniors. We also do some travelling for friendly competition – to Canada, Albany, Boston—to name a few areas.
